In 2017, Federal Land implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 - Real Estate (RE). The SAP ERP ECC 6.0 - Real Estate (RE) deployment supported Real Estate Property Management functions across Federal Land operations in Makati and the National Capital Region, aligning property management with corporate finance and project delivery processes.
Configuration work encompassed the RE module alongside core SAP modules FI, CO, PS, MM, and SD to enable integrated property accounting, cost controlling, project accounting for developments, procurement for construction materials, and sales order processing for unit disposition. Functional responsibilities documented for the program included preparing Business Requirements Documents and Understanding Documents, creating detailed functional designs, performing system configuration, executing functional testing, and handing off requirements to ABAP developers for technical implementation. The implementation followed Accelerated SAP methodology patterns for requirements gathering and lifecycle governance.
Operational coverage included finance and accounting teams, project management and construction delivery groups, procurement, and sales and marketing, connecting transactional flows from procurement and sales to property accounting and project cost tracking. System level integration occurred between SAP ERP ECC 6.0 - Real Estate (RE) configuration and FI CO PS MM SD modules to maintain reconciled ledgers, control postings, and project cost accumulation within the ERP environment. Federal Land used a hybrid on site work model to support analyst led testing, training, and knowledge transfer activities.
Governance emphasized formal sign off of BRDs and functional designs, structured functional test cycles, and documented knowledge transfer to ABAP resources and end users. Senior SAP functional analysts were accountable for business process analysis, configuration decisions, functional testing oversight, and post deployment support workflows.
