In 2015, FGL Sports Ltd implemented Microsoft Dynamics AX as its ERP Financial platform. The implementation replaced Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and centralized financial processing for retail banners including Mark's and FGL Sports, positioning Microsoft Dynamics AX as the corporate ledger and transactional finance backbone within FGL Sports backline technology.
Microsoft Dynamics AX was configured to deliver core ERP Financial capabilities including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, procurement, fixed assets, inventory costing, and financial close workflows. Operational scope included corporate finance, merchandising finance, supply chain accounting, and store settlement processes, and the internal backline technology team was responsible for delivery and rollout governance across the Mark's and FGL Sports business units.
