ECi Software Solutions Legacy ECI Deacom ERP Manufacturing ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2017 2018
In 2017, Fuchs USA implemented ECI Deacom ERP as its Manufacturing ERP. The deployment targeted shop floor and production operations for Fuchs Lubricants, with documented operator activity at the New Castle, DE facility beginning August 2018. The implementation was designed to support routine production scheduling and day to day execution aligned to the production planner schedule, covering production, packaging, inventory and shipping business functions. ECI Deacom ERP was configured to support inventory management and shop floor control, including raw material inventory transactions and production record capture. Functional capabilities noted in operational use include bill of materials management, production scheduling workflows, and transaction capture for completed work processes and packaging runs. The system is used by operators to complete required paperwork, reports and support functions that feed manufacturing routing and skills matrix requirements. The implementation incorporates warehouse mobile scanning into transactional workflows, with operators using WMS scanners to complete production and packaging transactions and to update Deacom inventory records. Operational coverage spans chemical operators, production planners and supervisors, and touches quality assurance and EHS activities through documented procedures and production records. Shipping and receiving functions are handled through the same ECI Deacom ERP transactional flows used by production personnel. Governance and process design emphasize operator entry of production records, inventory transactions and bill of materials updates within ECI Deacom ERP, with supervisors expected to be informed of significant issues and planners driving schedule inputs. Standardized production procedures, quality and safety standards, and a skills matrix are embedded in work assignments and system usage patterns to ensure consistent execution and documentation on the shop floor.
