In 2015, GE Renewable Energy implemented Infinite BrassRing ( Formerly IBM Kenexa BrassRing ) as its Applicant Tracking System. Infinite BrassRing ( Formerly IBM Kenexa BrassRing ) is deployed to support the public careers site and serve as the primary talent acquisition platform for GE Renewable Energy.
The implementation focuses on standard Applicant Tracking System capabilities, including job requisition management, online job posting, candidate intake through the careers portal, configurable candidate workflows, interview scheduling, offer management, and reporting dashboards. Infinite BrassRing was configured to enforce role-based recruiting workflows and to automate candidate status transitions across requisitions.
Operationally the deployment is scoped to Talent Acquisition and HR recruiting functions and is exposed on GE Renewable Energy’s external careers site for candidate self-service and application submission. The Applicant Tracking System handles applicant data capture and lifecycle orchestration from application through selection, and is positioned to feed recruiting outputs into downstream HR processes.
Governance for the implementation centers on centralized recruiting workflows, requisition approval controls, and recruiter access provisioning to maintain consistent hiring practices. The configuration emphasizes career site integration, candidate workflow standardization, and operational controls typical for enterprise Applicant Tracking System deployments.

In 2012, GE Renewable Energy implemented Oracle Field Service Cloud (ex TOA ETAdirect) as part of a GE Wind R12 program to deliver Field Service Management capabilities for GE Wind and to address India localization requirements. The deployment focused on field operations and purchasing workflows within the GE Wind business.
The implementation included configuration and extension of the Oracle Field Service Cloud application, development of custom Oracle Application Framework pages for the OFS module, and creation of operational reports such as Project History and Purchase Order reports. Teams built custom reports for Oracle Field Services and Purchasing to align service dispatch, order fulfillment, and procurement processes. The work referenced the R12 functional baseline while aligning OFS module workflows with India statutory and localization needs.
Integrations and code reuse were central to the program, the team performed proof of concepts on existing code developed for GE by TCS and leveraged those integration patterns across the R12 implementation. The project incorporated integration touchpoints between the OFS module and purchasing processes to support PO reporting and operational handoffs. Development and integration artifacts from other GE businesses were reused to accelerate the OFS deployment.
Governance and technical controls were documented through MD70 to MD120 technical design documentation, positioning the rollout as a showcase project for GE Wind. Performance engineering activities included tuning complex SQL statements using TKPROF and coordinated work with DBAs to stabilize run-time performance. Oracle Field Service Cloud was instrumented to support Field Service Management needs while aligning with the overall R12 program governance.
