| SAP | Legacy | SAP ERP ECC 6.0 | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2009 | 2009 |
In 2009, General Atomics implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as its enterprise ERP Financial platform to centralize finance, accounting, and procurement workflows across its manufacturing operations. The SAP ERP ECC 6.0 deployment served 15,000 employees in the United States and was positioned to support core financial processes and operational reporting.
Implementation work included a full refresh of the SAP ECC storage environment and AIX P8 compute, with storage architecture redesigned around a Hitachi G1000 array for production and disaster recovery. The refreshed SAP ECC storage environment and AIX P8 systems improved performance by 50 percent and supported HUR, Shadow Image, and snapshot strategies for point in time restore and replication.
Operational integrations implemented during the SAP ERP ECC 6.0 rollout consisted of synchronous and asynchronous data replication, documented fail-over procedures, and a validated Go-Live fail-over of SAP ECC on Hitachi storage. Virtual infrastructure standards were applied to HP Blade servers and VMware ESX, integrating the SAP ECC compute footprint into an enterprise virtualization layer and enabling tiered storage policies mapped to service level agreements.
Governance and operational tooling changes included automation for firmware upgrades, standardized procedures for storage and server maintenance, and capacity and performance management processes to enforce SLAs across tiers. The infrastructure team negotiated vendor support relationships and implemented maintenance agreement changes that reduced overall support costs while maintaining defined service levels.
The implementation established General Atomics SAP ERP ECC 6.0 ERP Financial as the backbone for finance and procurement functions, with documented backup, disaster recovery procedures, and operational runbooks supporting ongoing maintenance. The project also positioned the environment for subsequent SAP HANA landscape implementations on Hitachi G1000 storage by standardizing storage, replication, and virtualization patterns used in the SAP ECC deployment.

| Infinite Computer Solutions | Legacy | Infinite BrassRing ( Formerly IBM Kenexa BrassRing ) | Applicant Tracking System | HCM | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016 General Atomics deployed Infinite BrassRing ( Formerly IBM Kenexa BrassRing ) as its Applicant Tracking System. The implementation placed Infinite BrassRing on the company careers site to serve as the primary recruitment intake and candidate engagement channel for external applicants.
The deployment emphasized core Applicant Tracking System capabilities, including job requisition management, public job posting and career site integration, resume parsing and candidate profile management, structured candidate tracking through stages, interview scheduling, and offer workflow orchestration. Infinite BrassRing was configured to centralize applicant records and enable recruiter and hiring manager collaboration within a single talent acquisition application.
Operationally the solution was used by Talent Acquisition and HR teams to manage hiring workflows and to present live job details on General Atomics web pages via BrassRing job links. The architecture centered on a vendor-hosted ATS instance integrated with the company career portal, providing a unified candidate experience and a single source of truth for open positions and applicant status.
Governance focused on standardizing requisition approvals, role based access for recruiters and hiring managers, and centralized data retention for candidate records, aligned with typical Applicant Tracking System controls. The implementation reinforced repeatable recruiting processes by embedding recruiting workflows and approval steps within Infinite BrassRing.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP Enterprise Asset Management | Enterprise Asset Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018, General Atomics implemented SAP Enterprise Asset Management to support aerospace and defense production maintenance operations. The Enterprise Asset Management deployment targeted equipment, tools, facilities management, and maintenance and repair workflows, with explicit focus on Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul for aircraft rotable components.
The SAP Enterprise Asset Management implementation included configuration of Plant Maintenance modules for preventive maintenance planning, PM and CS orders, and notification processing, alongside inventory-managed spare parts to support corrective and planned maintenance. Maintenance Repair and Overhaul processes were modeled for rotable components, incorporating work order sequencing, notification handling, and equipment and tool master data structures.
Integrations were established to connect Plant Maintenance with the capacity planning process, aligning maintenance scheduling with production capacity constraints. Operational coverage encompassed maintenance technicians, inventory planning and facilities teams supporting aircraft production lines and rotable component handling.
Delivery was led by an SAP EAM Architect in a project management capacity from March 2018 to December 2018, responsible for design, implementation and support of EAM workflows. Governance emphasis centered on standardized PM and CS order workflows, notification lifecycle management, spare parts inventory rules using inventory-managed stock, and MRO handling procedures for rotables.
