The implementation targeted corporate accounting and finance functions and was positioned to support a distributed footprint, with Acumatica software integrated across Green Bay Packaging's 37+ locations.
The deployment configured core ERP Financial capabilities, emphasizing general ledger consolidation, accounts payable and receivable workflows, multi-entity financial close and accounting automation to support centralized financial reporting. Crestwood Associates supported the implementation, assisting Green Bay Packaging with the technical rollout and site-level integration of Acumatica Cloud ERP across manufacturing sites and corporate offices. The project architecture relied on a centralized cloud ERP instance to unify financial data from multiple locations while preserving site-level transaction throughput and accounting traceability.

| IFS | Legacy | IFS Cloud EAM | Enterprise Asset Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2024 | 2024 |
In 2024 Green Bay Packaging deployed IFS Cloud Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) at its two main paper mills to drive asset reliability and improve procurement functionality. The IFS Cloud Enterprise Asset Management implementation is an Enterprise Asset Management solution supporting GBP’s maintenance, reliability, safety, environmental, quality, and procurement teams across mill operations.
The implementation centers on asset tracking and condition based maintenance capabilities, with explicit configuration for vibration analysis, machine connectivity, and predictive analytics to identify at risk assets and schedule preventative work. Mobile functionality was configured to digitize field reporting and work execution, reducing paper based forms and enabling technicians to capture time and task details on site, while maintenance planning and material management functions were adjusted to improve workforce scheduling and parts provisioning.
IFS Cloud EAM was deployed alongside Net Results Group’s MRO3i and NRG Master Data Management solutions to standardize MRO catalogues and enrich item master records. Net Results Group cleansed, de duplicated, and enriched more than 80,000 unique MRO parts, supplying a standardized catalogue with linked documents and photos and location aware storeroom data, which integrates into IFS Cloud to inform inventory visibility and procurement workflows at each mill.
Governance was centered on a single platform approach to unify asset, maintenance, and master data processes, supporting tighter controls for quality and reliability objectives and enabling condition based policies to drive maintenance work execution. Operational workflow changes include mobile first field execution, centralized MRO catalogue governance, and process handoffs between maintenance planners and procurement to ensure materials and people are available when work is scheduled.
Explicit outcomes described by GBP include clearer visibility into asset availability, usage, and lifecycle to improve asset reliability, reduced manual administration through mobile capture, improved utilization and maintenance scheduling, and a standardized MRO catalogue that enhances operational efficiency. The combined IFS Cloud EAM and master data effort is positioned to minimize downtime and extend asset lifespan while improving procurement functionality across GBP’s two main paper mills.
