| SAP | SAP ERP ECC 6.0 | SAP S/4 HANA | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | PASaPAS | 2018 | 2019 | In 2018 Groupe Cervin migrated its SAP ERP application to SAP S/4 HANA to address production throughput and tighter quality control requirements in its cosmetics manufacturing operations. The implementation targeted ERP Financial capabilities and aimed to centralize finance, accounting, and financial reporting to better align with production and packaging workflows. The SAP S/4 HANA deployment concentrated on core ERP Financial functional modules including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, period end close and controlling, while leveraging S/4 HANA native real time ledger and embedded analytics for operational financial visibility. Configuration work emphasized master data consolidation and financial closing orchestration to reduce transactional fragmentation between commercial, production and finance functions. The program migrated data and transactional processing from SAP ERP ECC 6.0 and aligned financial master data with plant production and quality control workflows to support faster order to cash and procure to pay handoffs. Operational coverage included finance, supply chain and manufacturing adjacent processes, with the SAP S/4 HANA instance serving as the financial backbone that interfaces with on site production processes and quality assurance routines. The migration was executed with SAP partner PASaPAS, which led the conversion from SAP ERP ECC 6.0 to SAP S/4 HANA, including cutover sequencing, data migration governance and change management for finance and operations teams. Governance reforms focused on centralized financial process ownership, master data stewardship and workflow standardization to enable closer alignment between financial control and plant level production models. |
