In 2013 Grupo Rosmar implemented Aspel COI 8.0 as its ERP Financial system to centralize core accounting and treasury recordkeeping. The deployment targeted accounting, treasury, payroll interfacing, invoicing, and HR administrative workflows for the company’s operations in Mexico.
Aspel COI 8.0 was configured to host accounting record of policies, weekly petty cash handling, and control of branch and corporate expenses, reflecting a general ledger and expense control configuration typical of ERP Financial suites. Operational bookkeeping tasks were centralized in Aspel COI 8.0 while payroll pre-processing remained in Excel and payroll records were maintained in Aspel NOI, with monthly settlements and incentives calculated and administered through coordinated workflows.
The implementation included cross-application operational links, notably electronic invoicing and stamping processes executed through ASPEL SAE and electronic receipts stamping, with follow up on stamping and payment reception tracked in ASPEL SAE. Supplier payments and customer collections were tracked and registered in SAP, indicating an operational handoff between Aspel COI 8.0 accounting ledgers and SAP payment and collections records. HR related activities such as follow up of IMSS registrations and withdrawals, drafting of contracts, and personnel file filing were managed alongside the accounting and payroll record flows.
Governance and process changes were implemented at the transaction level, with treasury assistant responsibilities formalized to include preparation of pre-payrolls, dispersion of electronic food vouchers and gasoline, weekly petty cash reconciliation, and the tracking and registration of supplier payments and customer collections. The configuration oriented Aspel COI 8.0 to support coordinated workflows across accounting, treasury, HR, and operations, with explicit touchpoints to Aspel NOI for payroll and ASPEL SAE for electronic invoicing and stamping.

| Aspel | Legacy | Aspel NOI | Payroll | HCM | n/a | 2013 | 2014 |
In 2013 Grupo Rosmar implemented Aspel NOI to manage Payroll operations across its corporate and branch locations. Day-to-day execution by the treasury assistant included calculation and preparation of pre-payrolls on a weekly and fortnightly cadence in Excel, and formal payroll records entry in Aspel NOI. The scope included monthly settlements and incentives, dispersion of electronic food vouchers and gasoline, follow-up of IMSS registrations and withdrawals, electronic receipts stamping, drafting of contracts, and personnel file maintenance.
Configuration work centered on payroll calculation engines, record management, and electronic receipt stamping workflows, with parameterization for weekly and fortnightly cycles and separate monthly settlement runs. Administrative capabilities were used for drafting and filing employment contracts and maintaining personnel records, while petty cash controls and branch and corporate expense tracking were operated alongside payroll tasks. The treasury assistant retained operational responsibility for weekly petty cash handling and coordination of voucher and incentive dispersions.
Integrations linked Aspel NOI to Aspel COI for accounting record posting of payroll policies, to SAP for tracking and registration of supplier payments and customer collections, and to ASPEL SAE for elaboration and stamp follow-up of electronic invoices. These integrations created a transaction flow from payroll calculation in Aspel NOI to accounting entries in Aspel COI and transactional reconciliation and invoicing in SAP and ASPEL SAE, enabling handoffs between treasury, HR, and accounting functions.
Governance emphasized IMSS compliance tracking, formal timbrado of electronic receipts, and standardized processes for contract generation and personnel file filing, with a weekly operational cadence for petty cash and expense control. Operational ownership rested with treasury and HR, which coordinated payroll calculation, voucher dispersion, and cross-system posting and reconciliation across corporate and branch sites.
