In 2018, HEC Paris implemented Concord Sign to support global academic and administrative contracting and to eliminate paper based routing of documents across regions. The deployment targeted contract execution as a primary business function, positioning Concord Sign as the Digital Signing solution for the school’s cross regional agreement workflows. Concord Sign was configured to provide electronic signature capability combined with signature workflows and centralized contract storage. Implementation work focused on signature orchestration, approval routing, and establishing a single repository for executed agreements to improve visibility into contract status and to simplify access for institutional stakeholders. Operational scope covered academic and administrative contracting across multiple regions, with the platform used to centralize over 3,000 contracts in the Concord application within a few years. The rollout removed paper based routing and created a consistent process for initiating, routing, and completing signatures for institutional agreements. Governance changes included centralized contract custody in Concord Sign and process standardization for signature routing and record keeping, including audit trail retention inherent to the Digital Signing application. The school reported a drastic reduction in time to signature and centralized contract management as explicit outcomes of the implementation.
