Microsoft Legacy Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations ERP Financial ERP n/a 2014 2014
In 2014 Hoya Surgical Optics implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations as its ERP Financial platform. The deployment centralized core finance capabilities to support corporate accounting and finance functions in the companys Singapore operations. From August 2015 to July 2018 a Functional Consultant at HOYA MEDICAL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. led and managed financials in Microsoft Dynamics AX, administering production costing, budgeting, general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, petty cash and bank. That engagement produced functional design documents and functional requirement documents and involved configuration of financial workflows aligned to ERP Financial control processes. The consultant successfully built an integration between Microsoft Dynamics AX and a SAP application, accelerating the month-end close process to the fifth calendar day of every month. This integration work highlights a focus on financial close automation and cross-system synchronization of transactional and master finance data between ERP systems. Operational governance included business process overview sessions, user acceptance testing, user training and post-go-live support, aligning finance, costing and treasury workflows. Hoya Surgical Optics 2014 implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations together with the documented AX to SAP integration provides a documented lineage of enterprise finance systems and process orchestration for manufacturing finance functions.
