In 2015, Icf implemented Deltek Maconomy as its ERP Financial solution to centralize core financial and project accounting functions. Deltek Maconomy was positioned as the primary ERP Financial application to support accounting, billing, and financial reporting workflows for the professional services organization.
The implementation configured core ERP Financial capabilities typical for professional services firms, including general ledger, accounts payable, project accounting and project billing, expense management and financial reporting. Configuration emphasized mapping project-based revenue and costs into the financial ledger and supporting multi-entity accounting and consolidated reporting.
The deployment integrated with Deltek Costpoint 7 and Oracle's PeopleSoft HCM to address global payroll data issues, specifically troubleshooting gross pay, deductions, state taxes and leave feeds. These integrations supported cross-functional reconciliation between HR payroll records and financial ledger entries, establishing data validation and exception handling flows for payroll-to-ledger posting.
Governance was organized around finance and HR reconciliation workflows, data validation checkpoints and role-based access to payroll and project financial data. The implementation narrative centers on using Deltek Maconomy as an ERP Financial backbone, with explicit operational scope spanning global payroll data reconciliation and project-driven financial accounting.
