In 2019, Jakson implemented SAP S/4 HANA as its ERP Financial system, migrating from SAP ERP ECC 6.0. The program was led by the Head IT Infrastructure, Security and Business Applications and encompassed IT roadmap creation, infrastructure planning, and migration strategy. Deployment architecture combined an in-premise and cloud infrastructure mix, including data center upgrades and selection of fit for purpose hardware and software, and the effort targeted finance and accounting consolidation across corporate finance functions within the utilities business.
SAP S/4 HANA was configured to support core ERP Financial capabilities, including Financial Accounting, Controlling, Asset Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and financial close orchestration. Configuration work emphasized automation of close processes, finance master data harmonization, chart of accounts rationalization, and alignment of application controls to support ITGC audit requirements. The implementation included custom configuration and standard SAP S/4 HANA financial modules to centralize transactional finance and reporting workflows.
The implementation scope included planning and integration with a range of enterprise applications, including CRM, Field Maintenance Systems, visitor management and email solutions, video conferencing and work from home tooling, cyber security platforms, IoT feeds, and business analytics. Integration work focused on secure connectivity between SAP S/4 HANA and these systems, aligning data flows for asset management, field service costing, and consolidated financial reporting. Operational coverage targeted centralized finance, IT, and field maintenance teams based out of Noida and other organizational sites.
Governance and operations were restructured around ITIL practices, service level agreements, and an ISMS policy designed to meet ISO 27001 standards, with responsibility for information security training and ITGC audit readiness. The Head IT directed IT budgeting and control, cost effective annual maintenance contracts selection, and implementation of cyber security solutions to support the SAP S/4 HANA environment. Migration strategy execution included infrastructure provisioning and ongoing operational governance to sustain the ERP Financial system.

In 2013, Jakson implemented Oracle Cloud HCM as its Core HR system, replacing SAP HCM. Jakson Group is a utilities and power solutions provider with approximately 3,500 employees and operations across India, including three manufacturing facilities, 22 sales offices, a Global Training Center, 14 service centers and a network of 70 dealers.
The Oracle Cloud HCM deployment covered core workforce administration and organizational management modules, payroll administration for on roll and off roll employees, performance management configured for MBO and KRA and KPI workflows, succession planning with Individual Development Plans, and centralized HR reporting and analytics. Configuration activities included As is process mapping, To be process design, user acceptance testing and Train the Trainer delivery, with UAT-driven simplification of specific HR workflows.
Change management and governance were executed in collaboration with Earnest & Young (EY), facilitating a new organizational hierarchy, departmental structure and manpower fitment across the group. Policy formulation and amendments were routed through Group Head HR and presented to the Leadership Council for approval, with periodic audits at corporate, plant and sales office levels and internal SLA and entitlement audits to enforce rollout compliance.
Operational coverage spanned corporate HR, manufacturing sites and the nationwide sales and service footprint, with Oracle Cloud HCM used for payroll input, payout and statutory compliance workflows, HR analytics for management reporting, grievance handling and the operationalization of performance management and succession planning under the established governance framework.
