The project also delivered HCM PA and OM ABAP multi OOP control development, indicating custom personnel administration and organizational management transaction controls implemented inside SAP S/4 HANA Finance.
Integrations were implemented using SD inbound IDoc interfaces for transactional data flow and by provisioning Vehicle Management System reporting to surface asset and vehicle data within SAP reporting layers. Operational coverage emphasized plant sites with direct impact on sales order processing, production planning orchestration and HR master data handling, reflecting a cross functional footprint tied to the ERP Financial system.
Governance and process work centered on embedding ABAP object oriented controls and bespoke transaction logic to enforce PA and OM workflows and to standardize sales order header data capture. Governance and change activities emphasized training and process documentation, the production of written guides, and one to one and group training sessions for HR and managers. Project support tasks included vendor relationship management to coordinate supplier visits and on-site assistance, data cleansing and maintenance, and assistance to managers in collecting key employee data to operationalize Zellis ResourceLink HR.

The deployment was supported by a three person global SAP BASIS team based in Rocester, Staffordshire, operating SAP BW alongside SAP ECC6, BI, SCM, CRM, PI, EP and Solution Manager on a mix of Microsoft Servers and an HP Superdome Virtual Environment for high availability systems.
The SAP BW (Business Warehouse) implementation encompassed core data warehouse responsibilities including data modeling, extraction and batch processing workflows and reporting integration, with SAP BusinessObjects 4.1 installed and configured to serve front end reporting. Day to day operations were structured around system monitoring, performance tuning, fault resolution and batch job management using SM37. Change control and transports were managed through STMS and an external control system.
Integration points explicitly supported included inbound and outbound data flows to SAP ECC6, SCM and PI, and alignment with Solution Manager for landscape monitoring and diagnostics. Infrastructure coverage included Windows based application servers and virtualization on HP Superdome, with team exposure to HPUX and the SAP NetWeaver Java stack. Security hardening work targeted Enterprise Portal web dispatchers as part of operational risk reduction.
Governance relied on SAP Basis processes reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, formal change management workflows and periodic support pack upgrades on ECC6, SCM and PI. The implementation and ongoing operations focused on platform support, transport discipline and reporting enablement through SAP BW and SAP BusinessObjects 4.1.
