| SAP | Legacy | SAP SuccessFactors Compensation | Compensation Management | HCM | n/a | 2017 | 2018 |
In 2017 John Holland Pty Ltd implemented SAP SuccessFactors Compensation as part of a Compensation Management initiative to formalize pay planning and variable remuneration workflows. The engagement ran alongside requirements gathering for the SuccessFactors Learning Management System and included remediation work on Employee Central, Employee Central Payroll and Onboarding that had been identified during earlier cloud HR rollouts.
The SAP SuccessFactors Compensation implementation focused on configuration of the Compensation module, including plan templates, eligibility and eligibility rules, approval routing, calibration and compensation statement capabilities. Workstreams documented business requirements for total rewards workflows and configured compensation planning processes to align with existing HR policies and managerial approval gates.
Integrations were managed with Employee Central, Employee Central Payroll and Onboarding systems, with an Integration Lead and systems team coordinating data migration and testing activities. The program delivered a data migration strategy and testing strategy to address data consistency between SAP SuccessFactors Compensation and adjacent HR modules, and execution involved cross-functional teams and offsite vendors.
Program governance included a project charter, project plan, RAID register, RACI matrix, testing strategy and a BAU support model to transition operations to the HR and systems teams. The project team comprised business analysts, subject matter experts, a Change Lead, an Integration Lead and systems staff, and managed four offsite vendors including SAP, Skill Guard, Grace - ELO and RKM Consulting while engaging business leads and general managers for signoff and stakeholder alignment.

| Methvin | Legacy | Methvin Estimating | Construction Estimating | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2024 | 2024 |
In 2024 John Holland Pty Ltd appears as a featured customer for Methvin Estimating on the vendor LinkedIn product page, and is presumed to be using Methvin Estimating in its Construction Estimating workflows. The listing aligns Methvin Estimating with John Holland’s Australian infrastructure and building projects, indicating application usage oriented to estimating and bid management. Methvin Estimating is referenced as the application supporting estimating and commercial bid workflows for the contractor.
Module adoption is inferred from the product listing and Methvin feature set, with emphasis on estimating and digital takeoff capabilities, alongside bid management and estimate assembly within Methvin Estimating. Functional workflows likely include quantity takeoff, unit rate capture, template based estimate construction, estimate version control, and bid packaging that are common to Construction Estimating solutions. Configuration priorities for this class of application typically focus on reusable cost libraries and automation of takeoff to estimate handoffs to accelerate bid preparation.
Operational scope is concentrated in estimating and commercial teams supporting pre bid cost development and bid submission across Australian infrastructure and building projects. Governance patterns for this class of implementation typically establish estimate version governance, approval gates, and structured handoffs into project cost control and procurement processes. The evidence positions Methvin Estimating as the application used by John Holland Pty Ltd for Construction Estimating activities.
