In 2017 JR286 implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its ERP Financial platform. Apolis served as the system integrator, embedding an Oracle Supply Chain Solutions Architect with the JR286 IT team to align the application with multi‑site distribution and sourcing operations across the United States, China, and Europe.
The implementation centered on Oracle E-Business Suite R12 with focused configuration and lifecycle activities across core supply chain and finance-adjacent modules. Modules and capabilities implemented included Inventory (INV), Order Management (OM), ATP/GOP, Quality Planning (QP), Purchasing (PO), iSupplier portal, Warehouse Management System (WMS), Mobile Supply Chain Applications (MSCA), broader SCM and MFG functions, Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP), and CHRM. Workstreams covered system and application configuration, functional enhancements, development and testing cycles, and integration testing as part of standard software development life cycle practices.
Operational coverage included warehouse transformation and usability work at distribution sites, including a systems review at the Eindhoven, Netherlands warehouse supporting the Dakine account. The deployment linked WMS and MSCA-driven warehousing processes with OM, INV, ATP/GOP and PO modules, and interfaced with related IT systems to support procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, inventory allocation and fulfillment workflows. The Oracle E-Business Suite implementation supported cross-functional process alignment between supply chain, procurement, warehouse operations, and order management teams.
Governance and rollout were managed through project progress oversight, change control, progressive testing, staged rollouts, and post-production support under managed service programs led by Apolis. The embedded architect acted as a trusted advisor for cross-functional process reviews and supply chain strategy, and contributed to achieve operational enhancements and functional excellence in JR286 warehouse and supply chain operations.
