The deployment was sized for a 30 person manufacturing operation with $3 million in revenue and focused on core financial operations rather than enterprise scale infrastructure.
The implementation centered on core financial modules used to maintain vendor information and process cash receipts, leveraging accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger workflows consistent with ERP Financial systems. Payroll support continued to be handled in Sage 50, with finance staff and administrative roles coordinating entries between Sage 50 and Sage 500 ERP.
Operational integration included Microsoft Excel automation and a custom Microsoft Access database for harvest management, both implemented to streamline data capture and reporting for field operations. Those Office based tools were used to prepare and transform harvest and vendor data for posting into Sage 500 ERP and to automate routine reconciliations and cash receipt preparations.
An Administrative Assistant in Monett executed the design and rollout of the Access database and Excel automations between August 2015 and April 2016, and maintained vendor records and cash receipt processing inside Sage 500 ERP while providing payroll support in Sage 50. The effort optimized harvest information workflows through automated Excel actions and established a repeatable data flow from harvest management into the financial system.
