Idera Legacy Idera Lansa ERP Framework ERP Financial ERP Financial Management n/a 2002 2002
In 2002, Kawasaki United States implemented Idera Lansa ERP Framework at its Lincoln and Maryville manufacturing sites. The deployment targeted ERP Financial functionality to support materials planning, manufacturing execution and warehouse operations across the US plants. Kawasaki used Idera Lansa ERP Framework and LANSA development tools to build a supplier portal, an eKanban replenishment system and native iPad applications to improve manufacturing and warehouse processes. Configurations included kanban driven inventory workflows, mobile transaction capture on iPad devices, and supplier facing order and acknowledgement interfaces to tighten materials flow. Integrations connected the Idera Lansa ERP Framework with enterprise ERP processes for automated purchase orders, advanced shipping notices and three way matches, enabling automated PO and ASN processing and reconciliation tied to materials and warehouse transactions. Operational scope emphasized materials, procurement, warehouse and manufacturing business functions at the Lincoln and Maryville plants and in broader US implementations. Governance and rollout focused on plant level operationalization, supplier onboarding to the portal, and mobile app adoption to move transaction capture to the shop floor and suppliers. The US implementations delivered rapid ROI, the eKanban alone saved an estimated $3,500 per day according to the case study.
