The program positioned Temenos T24 as the centralized Core Banking platform for KBC Group, aligning the application with retail and corporate banking business functions across the specified countries.
The Temenos T24 implementation focused on core ledger and account management capabilities, customer data and KYC record consolidation, deposit and lending product configuration, payments processing, and product factory workflows. Configuration emphasis was on parameterized product catalogs, account lifecycle processing, posting engines and real-time transaction handling, consistent with Core Banking functional architecture.
Operational architecture was organized for centralized core services with localized configuration for country-specific parameters and regulatory needs, enabling a single Temenos T24 application instance to serve multiple country banks while preserving local product and channel variants. Integration patterns followed typical Core Banking practices, using service interfaces and messaging to connect channels, AML and compliance checks, and back-office operations, without naming external vendors.
Program governance was run from the BU International Markets program office, applying standardized deployment templates, wave-based rollouts across Ireland, Slovakia, Hungary and Bulgaria, and formal change control and testing gates to manage configuration and acceptance. The initiative linked KBC Group, Temenos T24, Core Banking and front-to-back retail and corporate bank operations through centralized program oversight and localized operational controls.
