In 2011, KIABI implemented Manhattan Active Supply Chain as its core platform for Supply Chain Management. The deployment emphasized Manhattan WMOS as the primary warehouse execution and operations component, positioning Manhattan Active Supply Chain to centralize warehouse controls and inventory orchestration across the retailer.
Configuration work focused on warehouse management workflows, inventory visibility, order orchestration, store replenishment, and labor and task management, aligning standard WMOS capabilities with retail distribution processes. The Manhattan Active Supply Chain implementation included configuration of picking strategies, putaway rules, cycle counting, and shipment staging to support high frequency store replenishment and omni-channel order flows.
The program integrated Manhattan Active Supply Chain with enterprise touch points including ERP engines, point of sale and store systems, e-commerce order feeds, and carrier or transportation interfaces to enable end to end order flow and inventory synchronization. Operational scope targeted KIABI distribution centers and retail store replenishment in France, connecting distribution operations to store-level inventory and fulfillment processes.
Governance established centralized inventory ownership and standardized warehouse operating procedures, with workflow restructuring to consolidate task assignment and exception handling through WMOS driven rules. Rollout was executed as a platform consolidation under the Supply Chain Management program, embedding operational controls and execution logic into Manhattan Active Supply Chain for ongoing distribution and store fulfillment governance.
