In 2018, Kindred implemented Workday Financial Management as its ERP Financial solution for core finance operations. The Workday Financial Management deployment ran as part of a combined Workday HR and Finance programme, positioning Workday as the supplier for a unified SaaS finance and HR architecture.
Configuration emphasized standard ERP Financial capabilities, with deployments aligned to general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, period close controls, multi entity consolidation and consolidated financial reporting. Implementation workstreams concentrated on chart of accounts standardization, period end orchestration and role based financial controls to support statutory and management reporting requirements.
The programme was managed by internal HR and finance executive teams together with Workday as the supplier and external integrators to coordinate delivery. Workday Financial Management was integrated operationally with the concurrent Workday HCM rollout to align payroll accounting and workforce cost allocations, and to synchronize master data flows between HR and finance domains.
Governance and rollout were driven through a programme management structure that defined priority forums, resource management processes and delivery channel coordination. Delivery transformation activities provided structure for the strategic portfolio, with programme managers accountable for requirements, timescales and cost control and for embedding finance process ownership across corporate finance functions.

Weekly data audits and data integrity checks were implemented as routine processes, and system documentation was created and updated to support user adoption and governance of eArcu ATS & Onboarding and related HR workflows. The solution supported business processes such as the quarterly bonus scheme through integrated HR data touch points and administrative workflows.
Integrations were implemented between eArcu and SelectHR for synchronization of organisational structure and employee records, enabling coordinated HRIS and applicant tracking data flows. Governance and operational support were staffed by an HR Services Coordinator from April 2018 to March 2019 who provided global support and guidance to HR Service Partners, maintained security profiles, performed weekly audits, resolved employee self service issues, and maintained user guides to sustain ongoing operational control of the Applicant Tracking System,Onboarding environment.
