| SAP | Legacy | SAP ERP ECC 6.0 | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2010 | 2011 |
In 2010, Kingspan implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0. The SAP ERP ECC 6.0 deployment was positioned as an ERP Financial initiative to consolidate core finance and operational processes across manufacturing, sales, procurement and production planning functions.
The project landscape centered on a single ECC6 instance with functional modules including SD, MM, PP and CRM, plus variant configuration and BI capabilities. Configuration work emphasized variant configuration for product options, integration of order-to-cash and procure-to-pay workflows, and BI reporting layers to support financial and operational reporting.
Work with data migration and testing teams was a defined part of the implementation, with data migration covering master data and transactional datasets for SD, MM, PP and CRM, and testing teams executing validation and end-to-end scenario testing across modules. The BI element supported extraction and reporting from ECC6, while variant configuration settings were embedded in production planning and sales configuration processes.
Governance focused on cross-functional change control and staged testing cycles, with configuration baselines and testing signoffs required before operational cutover. The narrative reflects a structured ERP Financial implementation of SAP ERP ECC 6.0 at Kingspan with emphasis on module alignment, data migration, testing discipline and BI-enabled reporting.

| Sage | Legacy | Sage Snowdrops HR | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017 Kingspan implemented Sage Snowdrops HR as its Core HR application to centralize employee record management and onboarding workflows. The deployment focused on transactional HR operations, placing new starters on the platform and recording ongoing employee changes, with Sage Snowdrops HR used as the canonical personnel data store for HR teams.
Configuration centered on Core HR capabilities common to the category, including new hire onboarding forms and data capture, employee master records and status changes, role and access controls for HR staff, and automated personnel change workflows. The implementation emphasized structured input for new starters and systematic updates for promotions, transfers and other employee lifecycle events, with audit-oriented record keeping and standard field schemas to support consistent data quality.
Operational ownership sat with central HR for day to day data entry and change management, with process standardization to ensure new starters were provisioned in the system at hire and that subsequent employee changes were recorded through defined workflow steps. Governance elements included role-based permissions, change tracking for employee records and routine administrative processes to maintain Core HR data integrity across Kingspan.
