In 2015 Klöckner Pentaplast implemented Panvision PANSITE Content Management as a full corporate website relaunch. The project was delivered in an eight-week sprint timed for the company 50th anniversary and focused on corporate web and marketing content for Germany, emphasizing faster publishing, responsive design and improved asset management outcomes.
Panvision PANSITE was configured to support editorial workflows and responsive templates for marketing pages, while PANFLOW capabilities were integrated to modernize content editing and approval flows. PANBASE functionality was embedded to centralize digital assets and applicant related records, enabling unified asset management and structured content storage within the CMS environment.
Operational coverage centered on marketing and HR facing functions in Germany, with content editors and recruitment teams using the system for publishing and applicant workflow tasks. The implementation emphasized role based publishing queues, editorial approvals and automated publishing steps consistent with Content Management best practices, reducing manual handoffs between content creation and live publishing.
Governance and rollout followed a rapid agile cadence, with sprint based delivery and staged editorial onboarding to support the anniversary launch. Reported outcomes from the initiative included faster publishing cycles, a responsive front end and improved asset management driven by the Panvision PANSITE platform integrated with PANFLOW and PANBASE.

In 2018 Kloeckner Pentaplast engaged MIC Origin Calculation System MIC OCS SCS and CALC to standardize supplier declaration management and automate preferential origin calculations within its Global Trade Management program. The project began in early 2018 with go live of MIC OCS SCS and CALC scheduled by the end of 2018, targeting improved FTA utilisation, compliance and competitiveness across its European operations.
Implementation centered on MIC OCS SCS for supplier declaration capture via MIC's supplier web portal and MIC OCS CALC for automated origin determination. CALC was configured to execute multi level BOM origin logic, top down and bottom up calculations and benefit allocation rules, and to host configurable origin determination workflows and calculation rule sets aligned to FTAs and originating criteria.
The deployment included a direct SAP integration to exchange master data and BOM structures and to feed calculated origin results into transactional processes, supporting customs and trade compliance, procurement and supply chain operations. Operational coverage was scoped to European sites, with supplier facing processes standardized through the MIC supplier web portal and internal workflows instrumented for automated origin issuance.
Governance changes emphasized centralized supplier declaration control and formalized origin calculation ownership, shifting declaration collection to supplier self service and consolidating calculation rules and audit trails within MIC OCS. The rollout timeline targeted end of 2018 go live and was positioned to improve FTA utilisation and regulatory compliance while strengthening competitiveness across Kloeckner Pentaplast's European operations.
