In 2019, Koncar implemented In-House HCM, a Core HR application developed and operated in-house for the Končar Group in Croatia. The implementation was part of a broader management information system effort based in Zagreb, with full-time Solutions Architect support beginning in February 2019 to design, develop and provide user support for the platform.
The In-House HCM implementation delivered core HR management capabilities tightly coupled to the group's MIS, with the Solutions Architect responsible for creation and maintenance of the Power BI reporting model and development of a web portal used to monitor facilities and processes at Croatian hydroelectric power plants. The platform design emphasized centralized HR master data, reporting and operational monitoring services consistent with Core HR functional workflows.
Integrations explicitly implemented include the HRM to Active Directory synchronization system, which was monitored and upgraded as part of ongoing operations, and Power BI based reporting fed from the HCM and MIS datasets. Operational coverage extended across HR and IT teams and into operations groups responsible for hydroelectric facilities in Croatia, reflecting cross-functional use of HR data for workforce and facilities oversight.
Governance and runbook activities focused on user support, data synchronization monitoring between HRM and AD, and ongoing maintenance of the Power BI model and web portal. The implementation narrative centers on an in-house, architect-led deployment that unified Core HR records, reporting, and operational monitoring inside Koncar without external system integrators.
