The installed solution and associated metering and analytics were explicitly credited with enabling restoration of power to 90 percent of the 240,000 people impacted during the 2016 floods within 27 hours, reducing outages by more than 194 million minutes, restoring more than 1.5 million outage cases without a customer phone call, saving consumers an estimated 20 to 25 million dollars per year in eliminated fees, saving over 1.65 million gallons of fuel, and delivering a reported 23 percent improvement in power reliability while identifying outages 50 to 70 percent faster.
