In 2016, Lake County School District implemented Brazen HRChatbot. Lake County School District deployed Brazen HRChatbot as a Recruiting Chatbot to support teacher recruiting and candidate engagement on the district website.
The district, the 19th largest public school district in Florida, adopted Brazen after Instructional Recruitment Partner Quiana Peterson identified employer brand visibility gaps when competing at university career fairs. Brazen HRChatbot was configured to host customized, branded virtual hiring events and live chat sessions, with the inaugural become a teacher event drawing 150 attendees and demonstrating event-level candidate interest.
Implementation focused on virtual hiring event orchestration, branded event landing pages, synchronous chat sessions for real-time candidate engagement, and embedded resume capture during chats. These functional modules reflect core Recruiting Chatbot workflows for candidate triage, engagement, and funneling into recruitment pipelines.
Operational ownership remained with the district recruitment team, and the solution was published on the public website to provide continuous candidate access and to support university outreach and career fair follow up. Governance emphasized event-specific branding, staffing models for live chat coverage, and scripted conversational flows to ensure consistent candidate experiences and recruiter handoffs.
Reported outcomes tied directly to the Brazen HRChatbot deployment include a 14% increase in new candidates per event and 68% more resumes when chat sessions were used, with additional hires attributed to chat interactions. Lake County School District used Brazen HRChatbot as a Recruiting Chatbot to elevate employer brand and run virtual recruiting programs without expanding traditional recruiting spend.
