Leatherman Tool Group implemented SPS Analytics in 2015 to provide retailer level sell through and point of sale visibility for its sales organization. SPS Analytics is an Analytics and BI application that Leatherman used to secure retailer POS data, normalize transactional and inventory measures, and surface operational dashboards for commercial teams.
The implementation emphasized data ingestion and normalization pipelines operated by SPS Commerce, with dashboards deployed for sell through reporting, retailer performance analysis, identification of low inventory, and support for distribution expansion proposals.
