In 2015, Leidos implemented Corcentric Cor360 Approval Workflow to centralize AP Automation across administrative and research support functions, establishing a consistent electronic approval path for corporate card reconciliation and purchase approvals. The deployment targeted administrative teams supporting the Cancer Research Technology Program, the Project Management Operations Office, and executive office finance activities within the Division of Clinical Research.
Corcentric Cor360 Approval Workflow was configured to support core AP Automation functional flows including approval workflow routing, credit card reconciliation, purchase request processing, and order tracking. Configuration emphasized rule-based routing and reconciliation workqueues to standardize how card transactions and purchase requests were validated and escalated for sign off.
The implementation integrated with DELTEK CostPoint and DELTEK Time & Expense for transactional handoffs and record keeping, enabling purchase requests and travel or expense packages to be reconciled against Cor360 workflows. Operational coverage included weekly corporate card reconciliations performed in Cor360 and the tracking of standing orders and supplier transactions to maintain alignment between AP Automation processes and CostPoint financial records.
Governance and process changes accompanied the rollout, with established weekly reconciliation cadence for corporate cards and formalized approval routes for purchase requests processed through Corcentric Cor360 Approval Workflow. Operational discipline included documented procedures for reconciliation, version control for supporting documents, and centralized workflow ownership within administrative finance teams responsible for AP Automation operations.
