Sage Legacy Sage Business Cloud X3 (ex Sage ERP X3) ERP Financial ERP n/a 2019 2019
In 2019, Made Goods implemented Sage Business Cloud X3 (ex Sage ERP X3) as its ERP Financial system. The deployment targeted core wholesale operations across the Made Goods family of brands including Made Goods, Pigeon & Poodle, Blue Pheasant and Thucassi, aligning order, purchasing and financial processes that support interior designers, retail boutiques and hospitality customers. Sage Business Cloud X3 was configured to support procure to pay and order to cash workflows, with explicit customization of parameters, screens, objects, transaction windows, menus, dashboards, workflows and queries. The engagement included Crystal Reports development to create and maintain Sage EM forms such as purchase orders, sales orders and invoices, development of import templates and jobs to support an ongoing data migration project, and use of the Sage EM script editor to create and modify files. The program required documenting functional and system specifications for integrations and customizations, and working directly with functional subject matter experts to translate business needs into technical solutions. Operational coverage focused on finance, purchasing, sales and merchandising teams, and the implementation assigned a functional Systems Analyst responsibility for specification, configuration and testing of the Sage X3 ERP environment. Governance was enforced through the Sage EM ERP security subsystem to assign appropriate system access to end users, while ongoing support responsibilities included troubleshooting errors, providing ad hoc technical assistance and maintaining import jobs and forms. Workflows and dashboards were adjusted through configuration to reflect Made Goods wholesale processes and to support operational reporting and transaction processing needs.
