SAP Legacy SAP S/4 HANA ERP Financial ERP Financial Management n/a 2018 2018
In 2018 MAHLE implemented SAP S/4 HANA as part of a global IT program, deploying the application to address core ERP Financial needs across procurement and finance business functions. The engagement positioned SAP S/4 HANA as the central transactional and financial system for the program. The implementation included configuration of SAP MM, SRM and NPM Purchasing modules to support procurement workflows, master data governance and purchase order processing within the SAP S/4 HANA landscape. Solution Manager and Symbio were used for solution documentation, process description and formal process design while Celonis was applied for process mining to validate end to end process adherence. SAP Ariba was included in the program and integrated with SAP S/4 HANA to align sourcing and procurement workflows at a global operational scope. The combined SAP S/4 HANA and SAP Ariba footprint targeted the intersection of purchasing and finance business functions to streamline procurement orchestration and financial posting flows. Program governance relied on Agile project management practices, using Scrum, JIRA and Dimensions for backlog and delivery tracking. The Process Owner role was responsible for process design, process description, stakeholder communication and change management activities, with Solution Manager serving as the application lifecycle management hub.
