In 2018, Maybank implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as its core ERP Financial platform. The deployment focused on centralizing financial operations across corporate finance, consolidation, treasury and transactional accounting to support the bank's reporting and control requirements.
SAP ERP ECC 6.0 was configured to deliver standard financial modules including Financial Accounting general ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center and Profitability Management, and Treasury and Cash Management. Configuration emphasized a centralized chart of accounts and multi ledgers to support statutory and management reporting, alongside automated period end close workflows and role based financial approvals.
The technical architecture followed enterprise SAP deployment patterns using centralized application servers and database instances to host SAP ERP ECC 6.0 and to scale transaction processing for the bank's operations. High availability, batch posting windows and scheduled financial jobs were incorporated into the operational runbook to support daily posting cycles and month end activities.

In 2022 Maybank deployed the Delyva Multi-Courier Delivery Platform as a Delivery Management implementation to operationalize its Sama Sama Lokal e commerce initiative, connecting merchants to on demand and regular courier partners and enabling shipping rules to support nationwide expansion into underserved cities. The deployment focused on marketplace delivery workflows and merchant onboarding to extend physical fulfillment reach across Malaysia.
The implementation leveraged Delyva Multi-Courier Delivery Platform capabilities consistent with Delivery Management requirements, including inferred courier aggregation and shipping rule configuration, routing and delivery status orchestration, and merchant onboarding workflows. Configuration work centered on defining city level shipping rules, orchestrating courier selection logic and enabling visibility controls to improve delivery transparency for merchants and end customers.
Integrations were implemented between the platform and merchant systems, and orchestration links were established to multiple courier partners to support both on demand and scheduled pickup models. Operational coverage was nationwide Malaysia with explicit emphasis on expanding service into underserved cities, and impacted business functions included logistics operations, merchant operations and customer fulfillment support.
Governance and process change included standardized merchant onboarding procedures, centralized shipping rule governance and operational playbooks for courier-aggregation orchestration. Maybank configured role based access for operations teams to manage shipping rules and courier selection policies, and instituted monitoring of delivery status to surface transparency to merchant dashboards.
Outcomes reported from the case study included expanded city coverage and improved delivery transparency, enabled by the courier aggregation and shipping rule usage within the Delyva Multi-Courier Delivery Platform.
