| SAP | SAP ERP ECC 6.0 | SAP S/4 HANA | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017, Map Aktif Adiperkasa implemented SAP S/4 HANA as its ERP Financial system, migrating from SAP ERP ECC 6.0 to establish a consolidated platform for finance, procurement and HR related processes. The SAP S/4 HANA implementation at Map Aktif Adiperkasa was positioned to centralize core transactional finance capabilities while aligning with broader SAP landscape components already in place.
The implementation included extensive functional workstreams, notably a full SAP HCM implementation from scratch covering Time Management, Organization Development, Organization Management, Recruitment, Payroll, Personal Development, Travel Management, ESS and MSS. The program also delivered SAP FIORI for PO and PR approval flows and absence and Time Sheet approval, and it deployed SAP Screen Personas 2.0 to simplify transaction UIs. SAP BW and SAP Enterprise Portal were upgraded as part of the initiative to preserve reporting and portal services alongside the ERP Financial core.
The technical migration and deployment architecture combined OS and database transformation with SAP upgrade activities, migrating database platforms from Oracle 8.1.7 and 10g to Oracle 11g and performing an Oracle 12c remediation for logical block corruption using data pump. The project executed OS and Unicode conversion moving from Solaris SPARC 10 to Linux SLES 11, applied offline database compression using SAPINST tools, and validated a Proof of Concept for conversion to SAP S/4 HANA using the Data Base Migration Option DMO. The team targeted minimized downtime using NZDT method and third party SAP tools such as SNP T-BONE to orchestrate near zero downtime technical cutovers.
Operational scope included end to end data center migration and a disaster recovery center implementation incorporating VEAAM Backup solution and OpenText for archiving to retain document lifecycle and compliance capabilities. Integrations preserved SAP BW reporting and Enterprise Portal linkages to transactional data, and archiving integration with OpenText was used to manage retained records for the ERP Financial estate.
Governance emphasized minimizing downtime as a KPI and sequenced upgrades to limit business interruption, combining SAP upgrades from older 4.7 releases through ECC 6 EHP7 with parallel OS DB migrations. The rollout approach included technical readiness checks, DMO readiness validation and targeted remediation activities such as database compression and corruption fixes, enabling the organization to move its ERP Financial footprint onto SAP S/4 HANA while preserving HCM, procurement approval flows and archival continuity.

| Darwinbox | SAP HCM (HR) | Darwinbox Core HR | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2021 | 2021 |
In 2021, Map Aktif Adiperkasa implemented Darwinbox Core HR. The deployment replaced a SAP HCM (HR) footprint and established Darwinbox Core HR as the companywide Core HR system for its Indonesian employee population of approximately 9,000, centralizing the HRIS record of employees and organizational structures.
The implementation configured standard Core HR capabilities including core employee records, organization management, time and attendance workflows, recruitment and applicant tracking, payroll interfacing, employee self-service and manager self-service. Configurations emphasized a normalized data model for positions and job structures, configurable approval workflows, role based access controls and configurable HR process automation typical for a Core HR platform.
The program included migration and data mapping from SAP HCM (HR) into Darwinbox Core HR, transferring master employee data and organizational hierarchies and establishing interfaces for downstream payroll processing and time capture. Operational scope covered HR shared services, payroll and talent acquisition functions and extended into manager level approvals and employee facing services used across corporate and retail HR operations.
Governance and rollout practices centered on establishing HR process owners and change control for configuration, phased functional cutovers to protect payroll cycles, and targeted end user enablement for employee self-service and manager self-service. The approach emphasized centralized configuration governance and cross functional HR and IT stewardship during the transition from SAP HCM (HR) to Darwinbox Core HR.

| ETP Group | Legacy | ETP POS | Point Of Sale | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2022 | 2022 |
In 2022 Map Aktif Adiperkasa implemented ETP POS as its Point Of Sale application to standardize store transaction handling across its retail network. The deployment supported core retail checkout processes and centralized operational monitoring for a company operating in Indonesia with approximately 9000 employees.
Implementation focused on point of sale configuration and functional coverage typical for Point Of Sale systems, including cashier workflows, sales transaction processing, payment acceptance, gift voucher processing identified as GV, and electronic data services identified as EDS. The program included structured end to end functional tests and a formal UAT process for Non SAP application areas such as POS EDS and GV, reflecting an emphasis on functional validation before production changes.
Operational architecture and integrations centered on ETP POS back end connectivity to relational databases, with SQL Server and MySQL proficiency required for support staff to troubleshoot transactional and reporting issues. The support model documented in hiring and operational notes indicates a Jakarta Raya based support team performing ticket driven analysis for users including those located overseas, using ticketing workflows to capture incidents and runbooks for operational troubleshooting of the ETP POS system and other non SAP applications.
Governance and run processes emphasized ticket reporting cadence and traceability, with expectations for weekly and monthly reporting on tickets and project workflow, case level reporting that records root cause and solution approach, and ongoing operational testing. Staff qualification requirements and mentions of travel for on site troubleshooting indicate a blended centralized and field support rollout model, with formalized UAT and case reporting governing change validation and incident resolution for ETP POS within the company retail operations.
