| Microsoft | Legacy | Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2019 | 2020 |
In 2019 Maple Lodge Farms implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations as its core ERP Financial platform, establishing a program focused on transactional finance, procurement and manufacturing data flows. The initiative included an upgrade path from Dynamics AX to D365 F&O, executed with internal and external resources and coordinated through Agile scrum teams.
The implementation work focused on application configuration and extension, including creation and extension of data models using Visual Studio, development of new forms and extension of existing forms with newly created display menu items, and updates to server side methods to enforce enhanced validation rules. Data Management was configured to import external data into custom Data Entities designed to accept multiple data sources, and existing entities were modified to support new data export requirements.
Integration architecture centered on middleware orchestrations connecting D365 F&O to external systems and on prem shopfloor systems, supporting use cases for purchase order creation and receipt processing, BOM export to create fixed batch work in progress for Finish Code generation, and Item Master synchronization. These integrations targeted procurement, manufacturing, inventory and finance functions and were built as message based exchanges through middleware to the shopfloor and external systems.
Governance and operationalization used Lifecycle Services and Azure DevOps for release management, deployment of software packages, and production refresh support, with test artifacts produced using Visual Studio, BPM and Task recorder. Reporting and event automation were implemented by creating a Power BI report from an entity in D365 F&O and publishing it to a workspace, and by using MS Flow to send emails to external users based on business events triggered in workflow.

| UKG | Legacy | UKG Workforce Central (ex Kronos Workforce Central) | Workforce Management | HCM | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017 Maple Lodge Farms implemented UKG Workforce Central (ex Kronos Workforce Central) v8.0 as a pilot at a greenfield site where neither an automated Time nor Attendance Management system previously existed. The initiative was framed as a Workforce Management deployment to establish time capture, attendance processing and accounting generation workflows for operational timekeeping.
The implementation workstreams covered end to end solution design and build, business process current to future state evolution and optimisation, and a future state process design that documented business process, system and data interactions together with accounting generation in a single Visio descriptive. Functional configuration focused on time collection and attendance rules, plus the configuration of accounting generation tied to pay posting flows. The project included formal UAT and Integration Test cycles to validate system and data interactions.
Program governance and rollout execution were managed through a project management workstream that maintained Sponsor and Stakeholder engagement and all relevant artefacts, alongside dedicated Change Management and Training tracks to onboard site users. Operational scope for the pilot was a single Canadian greenfield site, with business functions impacted including timekeeping operations, payroll interfacing and HR process alignment.
The pilot project completed in December 2018, concluding the initial Workforce Management pilot phase and delivering a documented future state process and tested UKG Workforce Central implementation ready for any subsequent rollouts.
