Oracle Legacy Oracle e-Business Suite Accounts Payable AP Automation ERP n/a 2017 2018
In 2017, Maxeon Solar Technologies implemented Oracle e-Business Suite Accounts Payable as part of a targeted AP Automation initiative. The deployment used Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.X and was positioned within Maxeon’s Source to Pay portfolio to support global supply chain management and finance operations. This implementation targeted centralized invoice processing and payables control across Maxeon’s manufacturing and procurement functions. Configuration focused on core Accounts Payable capabilities within Oracle e-Business Suite Accounts Payable, including electronic invoice capture and validation, automated match workflows aligned to two and three way receipt matching, invoice approval routing, and scheduled payment processing. Advanced Procurement components such as iProcurement, iSupplier and sourcing were interfaced functionally to ensure supplier master and purchase order consistency, and product costing and inventory accounting were configured to align payables postings with cost centers. The design emphasized AP Automation business processes and controls consistent with enterprise close cycles. The implementation integrated the Accounts Payable application with adjacent Oracle Source to Pay modules and satellite systems, with working knowledge applied to AP, iExpense, Quality and Order to Cash flows to maintain transactional integrity. Rollout was executed as a global S2P program supporting multi-location operations and required cross-functional coordination with procurement, controllers, process excellence teams and IT application support. The program included ongoing application support for month, quarter and year end close activities and managed change requests for S2P processes. Governance established an SME led operating model where enterprise applications and Source to Pay teams led configuration, testing and postproduction support while serving as escalation points for project issues. The role scope included requirements gathering, solution design, testing and documentation, and coordination with finance and procurement stakeholders to operationalize AP Automation controls and workflows. Compliance activities referenced in the program included support for internal audit, SOX and data protection considerations.

Oracle Legacy Oracle E-Business Suite Inventory Management Inventory Management SCM n/a 2017 2018
In 2017 Maxeon Solar Technologies implemented Oracle E-Business Suite Inventory Management as part of an enterprise Oracle EBS initiative supporting its global supply chain and Source to Pay operations. The Oracle E-Business Suite Inventory Management implementation was scoped to align inventory controls with procurement workflows under an R12.2.X oriented architecture for transactional processing and costing. The implementation encompassed core Inventory modules and adjacent procurement capabilities, with functional coverage including inventory transactions, receipts and putaway, cycle counting, lot and serial tracking, product costing, and Purchasing and Advanced Procurement modules such as iProcurement, iSupplier and Sourcing. Configuration work focused on receipt to requisition orchestration, receipt matching, inventory valuation rules, and cost rollup processes to support product costing across manufacturing and supply chain operations. The deployment operated within a broader Oracle EBS ecosystem and was positioned to interface with Source to Pay and satellite systems. Working knowledge of integrations with Accounts Payable, iExpense, Quality, and Order to Cash business processes was identified as necessary, indicating those modules served as candidate integration points for transactional handoffs, financial reconciliation, and audit support. Governance and delivery were organized around an SME-driven model, with the Enterprise Applications team acting as liaison to VPs, Controllers, and process excellence stakeholders. The program relied on integrated teams of business analysts, functional consultants and developers to manage requirements gathering, solution design, testing, documentation, and postproduction application support, with the SME serving as escalation point and driving alignment for multi-location rollouts. Operationally the Oracle E-Business Suite Inventory Management deployment supported day to day application support, month quarter and year end close activities, and an ongoing portfolio of Source to Requisition and Receipt enhancements. The implementation emphasized standardized processes and documentation to sustain global Supply Chain Management and S2P operations across Maxeon Solar Technologies.
