| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle Cloud SCM | Supply Chain Management | SCM | n/a | 2019 | 2020 |
In 2019, Medifast India implemented Oracle Cloud SCM to centralize Supply Chain Management and align procurement and payables with finance. The deployment was part of an Oracle Cloud ERP Implementation Finance & SCM effort, establishing Oracle Cloud SCM as the primary application for procurement, purchase order processing, payables, and supplier and customer master data management.
Work focused on Fusion Payables, PO and Procurement Cloud modules and included configuration of payment formats such as cheque printing and electronic funds transfer. Reporting and analytics were delivered using Cloud BI Reports, Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence OTBI and BI Publisher, with customization of seeded reports, creation of new BI Publisher reports using Excel, RTF and E-text layouts, and dashboards and analyses built in OTBI. Smart View and SQL based extracts were used to support transactional reconciliation and ad hoc financial analysis.
Data loading, conversions and integrations used Financial Based Data Import FBDI templates for bulk uploads of payables data, supplier data and customer data, and the technical stack centered on FBDI, OTBI and Cloud BI Reports for operational reporting. Development produced OBI Reports and OTBI analytics scoped to Fusion Payables, PO and Procurement Cloud modules, and data transformation routines were executed during conversion waves.
Governance emphasized report ownership, payment format controls and source to target validation during cutover, with responsibilities including seeded report customization, payment format implementation and development of transactional and analytical reports. The narrative links Medifast India, Oracle Cloud SCM, Supply Chain Management and finance aligned reporting to the implemented configuration and operational controls.
