Tata Consultancy Services Legacy TCS iON Digital Campus Education ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2018 2019
In 2018 Meghe Group of Institutions implemented TCS iON Digital Campus to address fragmented campus operations across its colleges. The deployment used TCS iON Digital Campus alongside TCS iON Digital Learning as an Education ERP solution to centralize campus management and digital learning workflows for target colleges within the group. The implementation automated core functional modules including student lifecycle management, faculty lifecycle and leave management, attendance tracking, procurement requests and approvals, and automated report generation. TCS iON Digital Campus was configured to orchestrate end-to-end campus administrative workflows and to reduce manual paperwork through digital forms and approval routing, while TCS iON Digital Learning provided collaboration and communication capabilities for student and faculty engagement. Operational coverage for this deployment was explicitly scoped to three engineering colleges within the Meghe Group of Institutes, while the wider group context includes more than 50 institutes, a student base exceeding 60,000 and faculty strength above 10,000. Integrations were focused on unifying disparate departmental processes into the Education ERP platform, consolidating attendance, HR leave records, procurement workflows and academic reporting into a single operational dataset. Governance changes emphasized process standardization and workflow automation across administrative and academic functions, shifting approvals and reporting from manual to system-driven processes. Outcomes reported included streamlined campus processes, improved student engagement through TCS iON Digital Learning, and reduced manual effort in report generation and approvals as a result of the Education ERP deployment.
