The Lawson implementation operated alongside a set of custom and packaged systems, integrating operational workflows with MetOS for artistic scheduling and planning, MPS as a payroll front end web portal, HDTracking for ticket sales data collection, SAP BPC for planning and consolidation, and SAP Crystal Reports for business intelligence reporting. Supplemental Microsoft Access solutions and SharePoint driven electronic forms were used to replace paper workflows and to bridge data collection and reporting between Infor Lawson and the organization specific applications. Governance for the Infor Lawson deployment included direct supervision of system administrators and analysts, project management for initial implementations and ongoing maintenance, and a one year transition program to stabilize Payroll operations while training new management. The program delivered a replacement of paper centric HR and payroll processes with web based employee self service and electronic workflows, and maintained ongoing business rule integration to accommodate multi union labor agreements and regulatory changes such as the Earned Sick Time Act and the Affordable Care Act.
