Microsoft Legacy Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP Financial ERP n/a 2015 2015
In 2015 Miller's Ale House implemented Microsoft Dynamics AX as an ERP Financial application to centralize corporate financial processing and support cross-functional reporting. The implementation was led internally with a program manager overseeing the rollout and the data integration design, and the project included configuration of Dynamics AX financial functionality to meet the company accounting and reporting needs. The Microsoft Dynamics AX deployment included configuration workstreams for core financial controls, data integration layers, and ETL orchestration feeding a centralized data store and data mart. Data management responsibilities encompassed scheduled data store and data mart refresh processes, proactive batch monitoring to prevent downtime, and ongoing maintenance of data flows to ensure transactional and master data consistency between systems. Integrations were implemented between Microsoft Dynamics AX and multiple operational source systems, explicitly including POS platforms, HotSchedules, CrunchTime, and UltiPro, with LS Retail POS validated in a pilot location and staged for broader rollout. The integration approach emphasized extract, transform, load pipelines and BI-ready datasets to enable executive reporting and operational analytics across Finance, Operations, HR, and Payroll. Governance and operationalization included cross-departmental collaboration between Operations, Finance, HR, Payroll, and IT to align data definitions and reporting requirements, along with project management for go live activities. The program also encompassed building the BI environment for executive reporting and performing internal PCI DSS assessments to identify and remediate compliance issues, while daily operations relied on monitored batch processes and incident troubleshooting to maintain system availability.

In 2015, Miller's Ale House implemented UKG Pro Recruiting (ex UltiPro Recruiting). UKG Pro Recruiting was provisioned as the company Recruiting,Applicant Tracking System to consolidate candidate records and standardize requisition and hiring workflows across the organization. The deployment focused on core applicant tracking and requisition management capabilities typical of a Recruiting,Applicant Tracking System, with configuration to align job templates, approval routing, and candidate lifecycle states to restaurant hiring patterns. The implementation was integrated into the company data environment through ETL and data mart processes, and the full application name UKG Pro Recruiting appears in operational data pipelines supporting reporting and analytics. Operational integrations were explicit and broad, the data team developed and maintained data flows from multiple source systems including POS, Dynamics AX, HotSchedules, CrunchTime, and Ulti Pro, and assisted with LS Retail POS pilot go live and subsequent rollouts to additional locations. The Manager of Data Analytics and Integrations established scheduled data store and data mart refresh processes, proactively monitored batch processes to prevent unexpected downtime, and supported cross-departmental data reconciliations with Operations, Finance, HR, Payroll, and IT. Governance and program management were executed through centralized ETL ownership and project management, with the data lead acting as project manager for finance system rollout and managing the BI environment for executive reporting. Ongoing operational governance emphasized batch monitoring, incident troubleshooting, and cross-functional coordination to maintain end-to-end data integrity between UKG Pro Recruiting and upstream source systems.

Crunchtime Legacy Crunchtime ERP Hospitality ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2015 2015
In 2015, Miller's Ale House implemented Crunchtime ERP to consolidate restaurant operations and back office workflows. The deployment targeted Hospitality ERP capabilities supporting inventory control, procurement, labor and scheduling workflows, and food cost management, with Crunchtime ERP positioned as the central operations system feeding downstream reporting. Crunchtime ERP was configured to publish transactional feeds into an enterprise data store and data mart used for executive reporting, with ETL pipelines and batch processes designed to refresh schedules on a defined cadence. Configuration work emphasized inventory and labor modules, recipe and cost controls, and procurement workflows, and included automation of data flows to support operational analytics and BI consumption. The implementation included explicit integrations with other enterprise systems identified by Miller's Ale House, including Dynamics AX for financials, LS Retail POS for point of sale, HotSchedules for workforce scheduling, and UltiPro for payroll and HR data, as well as site POS systems. Data integrations were built and maintained to move sales, labor and inventory transactions from POS and scheduling systems into Crunchtime ERP and the enterprise data mart, enabling consolidated executive reports. Governance and operational ownership transitioned to the Manager of Data Analytics and Integrations in January 2016 who ensured data store and data mart refresh processes executed on schedule, proactively monitored batch processes, and managed ETL development and support. That role also managed the BI environment for executive reporting, acted as project manager for Dynamics AX financial system rollout, and supported go live and phased rollout of LS Retail POS to pilot and subsequent locations, establishing cross functional collaboration across Operations, Finance, HR, Payroll and IT.
