Sage Legacy Sage 500 ERP (formerly MAS 500) ERP Financial ERP n/a 2016 2016
In 2016, Moore and Giles implemented Sage 500 ERP (formerly MAS 500) to support core ERP Financial operations across its Bags, Accessories, and Furniture divisions. The deployment was positioned to centralize procurement, inventory and finance workflows while supporting multi-site production and distribution across factories worldwide and more than 15 offsite inventory locations. The Sage 500 ERP (formerly MAS 500) configuration emphasized procurement and purchasing management, inventory management, accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, and shipping and receiving transaction workflows. Implementation included work order and purchase order processing and embedded inventory control capabilities typical of ERP Financial systems, with functional support for inventory costing, transaction posting and financial ledger flows. Operationally the environment coexisted with Netsuite and standard Microsoft Office Suite tools, with staff using Netsuite alongside Sage 500 ERP and Excel for reporting and order processing. The system supported international communications for factories, customer service order entry via phone and web, and coordination of production runs that required quarterly in person travel to partner factories. Governance and process changes centered on maintaining and monitoring weekly stock levels at each factory, full responsibility for creation and processing of purchase and work orders, customs compliance practices for international shipments, and quality assurance inspection workflows for leathers, hardware and finished goods. The implementation formalized inventory management across 15 plus locations, clarified time management and communication protocols with external manufacturers, and integrated purchase to pay and order fulfillment processes with customer service and accounts functions.

In 2017, Moore and Giles deployed Zendesk Chat on their website to enable real-time customer engagement. Zendesk Chat, categorized under Chatbots and Conversational AI, was implemented as an embedded web messaging widget that appears on product and support pages to capture customer inquiries and initiate live conversations. The implementation emphasized web-based chat routing into support and sales workflows, using the Zendesk Chat agent console for live response, chat transcript capture, and scripted reply templates.
