Azure DevOps was used for source control and to govern code promotion into production, and the program included testing strategies, training materials, and user guides to support adoption by accounting, AP, revenue operations, HR, and sales teams including 100 plus Salesforce users. Governance and process changes were enforced through a Change Control Board and SOX focused procedures to ensure approved code and configuration entered production. Reported outcomes from the implementation included improved stakeholder response times and better expense tracking via the PowerApps invoice automation, elimination of paper in accounting workflows, a 100 percent satisfaction rating for Zendesk related projects, and remediation efforts to address ERP weaknesses that could have led to a Material Weakness Designation.
