| Fiserv | Legacy | Fiserv Data Safe | Credit Union Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2009 | 2009 | In 2009, Navy Army Community Credit Union renewed and expanded its deployment of Fiserv Data Safe, reinforcing its core Credit Union Management platform for account processing. The credit union, serving more than 72,000 members and holding almost $865 million in assets, maintained Fiserv Data Safe as the central account processing application it had relied on since 1992. The implementation centered on Fiserv Data Safe as the core account processing engine, with the renewed agreement adding Fiserv software, services and development to extend online banking, bill payment, wire transfer and fraud and risk capabilities. Functional modules encompassed member account management, transaction processing, payments orchestration, electronic bill presentment and merchant wire transfer workflows, together with fraud monitoring and risk management functions aligned to Credit Union Management needs. Operational integration tied Fiserv Data Safe to member-facing channels and back-office operations, creating a unified flow between branches, contact center systems, payment operations and risk and compliance teams. The expanded scope explicitly included online banking integration, bill payment interfaces, wire transfer processing and fraud and risk tooling provided by Fiserv, supporting end-to-end transaction lifecycle management for the credit union. Governance of the program was driven by a vendor-backed services and development arrangement with Fiserv, with rollout and configuration activities coordinated across the credit union’s operations, IT and risk organizations. The procurement emphasized bundled software and ongoing development services from Fiserv to standardize payments, member servicing and fraud workflows within the existing Fiserv Data Safe Credit Union Management environment. | |
