The In-House eCommerce was developed on .NET technology and was built to provide core retail capabilities consistent with the category, including catalog management, product detail pages, shopping cart and checkout workflows, order management, and administrative merchandising tools. Configuration work focused on storefront behavior, pricing and promotions rules, and backend order processing flows.
Operational coverage centered on Netfarma's Brazil retail ecommerce function, supporting online merchandising, product catalog operations, and digital order capture for the company site. Development and deployment were handled by Netfarma's internal engineering organization, positioning the application under direct in-house ownership.
The migration and delivery timeline was executed over an eight month development program, which encompassed platform build, site migration, and rollout of initial commerce capabilities. Governance shifted to Netfarma for ongoing maintenance and feature roadmap control following the cutover to the In-House eCommerce application.
