The engagement concentrated on implementing JDA Factory Planning and Sequencing as the core engine assembly planning platform, with responsibilities scoped to technical upgrade activities, solution integration and on-site delivery in Smyrna, TN. The implementation workstream emphasized architecture validation and feature alignment by documenting differences between the old and new technology architecture and features, and by configuring sequencing engine and finite capacity scheduling capabilities consistent with Advanced Planning and Scheduling practices. An integrated test plan was developed and executed to validate functional modules and shop-floor sequencing scenarios, and user training was delivered to engine assembly planners and production schedulers.
