In 2012 NVR, Inc. implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its ERP Financial application. The rollout targeted the construction and real estate finance and operations stack and established Oracle E-Business Suite as the central ERP Financial platform for core accounting and transactional workflows.
The implementation included Oracle General Ledger GL, Accounts Receivables AR, Accounts Payables AP, Order Management OM, Purchasing PO, Fixed Assets FA, Inventory INV, Service Contracts, BOM, WIP, Install Base modules and CRM. Configuration work emphasized subledger controls for AR and AP, chart of accounts and period close processes in GL, order to cash orchestration in OM, procure to pay flows in PO, inventory valuation and WIP tracking, BOM driven assembly control and install base and service contract lifecycle management. The team created and integrated custom built Forms with Oracle Applications and reused the CUSTOM.pll library to extend form logic and user interface behaviors within Oracle E-Business Suite.
Operational scope spanned finance, procurement, inventory and service management functions, aligning accounting, procurement, order processing and field service workflows under a unified application. Governance ramped up around standardized approval routing, role based security and centralized financial controls to support consistent accounting treatment and process compliance across business units. In 2010, NVR, Inc. implemented In-House Benefits, an Excel based Benefits Administration application developed internally to manage employee benefits across its organization in the United States. The In-House Benefits implementation established a single, standardized workbook approach administered by corporate HR and benefits teams, consolidating benefits records and enrollment processing into controlled Excel templates.
The solution is organized around functional workbooks and tabs that serve as modules for enrollment rosters, eligibility maintenance, contribution calculation logic, and operational reporting. In-House Benefits supports routine Benefits Administration workflows including open enrollment tracking, qualifying life event updates, and premium allocation computations through formula driven spreadsheets and validation rules.
Deployment is file based, using centralized Excel templates stored on corporate network shares with access controls and versioning practices to minimize concurrent edit issues. Operational handoffs rely on manual reconciliation and export processes to create administrative reports and formatted data extracts for downstream administrative consumers.
Governance for In-House Benefits is centered with the HR benefits team, with template control, documented change logs, and defined approval checkpoints for enrollment and plan adjustments. Administrative process design emphasized workbook standardization and administrative training to maintain data integrity and operational continuity.

The deployment was anchored on a SQL Server 2012 data platform and leveraged existing Microsoft reporting and ETL technologies documented in the project notes.

Operational database work included creating clustered and non clustered indexes, normalization for OLTP, and diagnosing performance issues using SQL Server Profiler and Database Engine Tuning Wizard.
Operational governance centered on documented procedures and automated job management, maintain operators categories alerts notifications jobs job steps and schedules to ensure predictable report generation and ETL processing. The environment list included SQL Server 2012 SSRS SSIS T SQL SVN MS Excel and MS Visio, and the overall implementation connected Microsoft Power BI to an established SQL Server reporting and ETL stack to support finance and sales reporting workflows.
