In 2023 Ocorian deployed the Veremark Platform for BackGround Screening to support global hiring and compliance across its heavily regulated banking and financial services operations headquartered in St Helier, Jersey. The deployment focused on multi-jurisdictional pre-employment screening and governance, enabling HR and compliance teams to manage candidate checks centrally while meeting local regulatory requirements.
Ocorian configured the Veremark Platform with HR and background screening modules including pre-employment checks, verification workflows, identity and credential validation processes, and screening orchestration to support candidate onboarding. The Veremark Platform was instrumented to provide configurable checks and workflows aligned to hiring policies, supporting standardization of screening logic and exception handling across business units.
Operational ownership rested with HR and compliance teams covering multiple jurisdictions, with rollout coordinated to align screening rules to local compliance requirements and hiring workflows. Since adopting Veremark Platform in 2023 Ocorian reported faster, more flexible checks and close collaboration with Veremark on product improvements, reflecting ongoing vendor collaboration to refine screening capabilities.
