In 2015 Oklahoma Department of Transportation implemented UKG Workforce Central, also referenced as UKG Workforce Central (ex Kronos Workforce Central), to address core Workforce Management needs across its transportation operations. The implementation began with a formal Task 1 baseline analysis requirement, which documented the existing software estate and the state of hardware and security, and cataloged transit-specific systems in use by EMBARK including the Trapeze suite, TripSpark modules, Remix, M5, eWordOrders, Kronos, and Peoplesoft.
Configuration work focused on standard Workforce Management capabilities consistent with UKG Workforce Central, including centralized timekeeping and clocking, employee scheduling and shift assignments, attendance and exception management, labor rules and accruals, and workforce data capture for payroll and operational reporting. The deployment emphasized role-based configuration and operational workflows for transit and maintenance staff, aligning time collection and scheduling functionality with transportation operational patterns.
The project explicitly treated interoperability and data exchange planning with the listed transportation management systems and payroll systems as a deliverable, along with a hardware and security posture assessment to inform deployment sequencing and governance. Governance activities centered on the baseline analysis informing configuration standards, rollback and cutover planning, and operational ownership for ongoing workforce administration within ODOT and EMBARK operations.

| Trimble | Legacy | Trimble AgileAssets Maintenance Manager | Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017 Oklahoma Department of Transportation implemented Trimble AgileAssets Maintenance Manager. The deployment was driven by the Maintenance Division and extended training to other ODOT users, positioning Trimble AgileAssets Maintenance Manager as the agency Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) application to meet agency goals and address operational challenges.
The implementation emphasized core Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) capabilities, configured for asset-centric records, work order management, preventive maintenance scheduling, and inventory control. Configuration work focused on standardizing work order templates and preventive maintenance schedules to align with field maintenance workflows and supervisory planning.
Operational structure combined hosted software procurement with on-site support services, maintained through a sustained budget for software, hosting, and on-site support services. To drive adoption, ODOT created an MMS training program that delivered specialized, daylong, in-house training sessions led by ODOT power users to help all other ODOT users leverage the full capabilities of the AgileAssets system.
Governance and support were formalized through ODOT employee email groups for MMS-focused technical support and power user communications, a power user led training curriculum, and continuing budget oversight for hosting and on-site support. These elements established a repeatable rollout and user support model for maintenance operations and maintenance management functions across the agency.

In 2019, Oklahoma Department of Transportation deployed Microsoft 365 as its Collaboration platform to standardize agency communication and document workflows. The deployment is visible in public site instrumentation, indicating Microsoft 365 components are used in the agency web footprint and in agency collaboration tooling.
Microsoft 365 was configured to provide core Collaboration capabilities, including Exchange Online for email, SharePoint Online for intranet and document libraries, Microsoft Teams for real time communication and meetings, and OneDrive for individual file storage. Configuration work focused on site collections, shared document libraries, groups and team sites, and provisioning of user mailboxes and collaboration workspaces to support common office and field coordination tasks.
The implementation follows a cloud tenant architecture, with Microsoft 365 services provisioned for agency accounts and publicly observable Microsoft 365 artifacts on the agency website. Identity and access are managed through the Microsoft identity model native to the Microsoft 365 suite, enabling centralized account provisioning and single sign on for Collaboration services across the agency.
Governance was structured around tenant level administration, role based access controls, and content classification and permissions typical of public sector Collaboration deployments. Operational governance emphasized policy controls for document sharing, external access restrictions, and administrative roles to align Microsoft 365 Collaboration with state agency compliance and recordkeeping requirements.
