Microsoft Legacy Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP Financial ERP n/a 2019 2019
In 2019 Onduline Building Materials (Malaysia) implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as its ERP Financial system across its Malaysia, Philippines and Vietnam entities. The implementation was led by the Head of the Finance Department who managed rollout, and the Dynamics 365 Business Central estate is maintained through ongoing collaboration with overseas IT consultants. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central was configured to cover core finance and accounting functions including taxation and transfer pricing management, forecasting and budgeting for both factory and local trading operations, and scenario analysis to support factory and commercial decisions. The deployment included modules for cost controlling and production cost review, accounts receivable controls such as credit limits and customer aging, payroll reporting and payroll system maintenance, and segment profitability and ASP review workflows. Operational integration emphasized tight coordination between finance, operations and sales, with the finance lead liaising with auditors, tax agents, the company secretary, bankers and external business partners to support compliance with internal controls, group policies and local reporting requirements. The ERP Financial deployment supported an inventory and cash optimization program and was used as the system of record for financial close and working capital controls across the regional entities. Governance and process redesign accompanied the technical work, with finance department process streamlining that halved the time required for financial closing and a production process audit program that identified and addressed waste and overconsumption. The finance organization also designed and negotiated vendor strategies that significantly decreased input costs, and used Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to enforce control points for pricing, credit, and cost containment.

Typeform Legacy Typeform Survey and Questionnaire Collaboration n/a 2022 2022
In 2022 Onduline Building Materials (Malaysia) deployed Typeform as a web based form and survey tool to support on site customer interactions. The implementation uses Typeform within the Survey and Questionnaire category to capture structured responses directly on the company website. The deployment emphasizes standard Survey and Questionnaire capabilities, including the Typeform form builder for question authoring, conditional logic and branching to tailor respondent flows, and centralized response collection for export and reporting. Forms are embedded on site pages to collect inquiries and feedback, with configuration focused on form design, validation rules, and response handling workflows typical for customer facing surveys. Operational scope is focused on the Malaysian website and associated customer engagement workflows, impacting commercial and customer service functions that manage inquiries and feedback. Governance is proportionate to a 20 person organization, with form creation and response management consolidated to a small set of users to maintain consistency and data handling practices. The narrative centers on Typeform as the Survey and Questionnaire application used on the company website.
