In 2020, OnMobile implemented Wolken IT Service Management to deploy a web based service desk aimed at increasing responsiveness to incidents and customers while shifting operational teams toward core, value added work. The Wolken IT Service Management implementation established a centralized ticketing intake and incident management platform, providing a single web portal for IT and customer support requests. As an IT Service Management solution, the system provided standard ticket lifecycles, SLA tracking, knowledge management and a self service portal to channel requests and surface known fixes.
Configuration and automation focused on incident lifecycle orchestration, automated routing and workflow driven escalation to enforce SLAs and reduce manual triage. Governance changes included defined escalation matrices, role based access controls for technicians and service managers, and standardized request handling processes for OnMobile's IT and customer service functions. The deployment positioned OnMobile to operate Wolken IT Service Management across its IT operations and customer support teams consistent with the stated goal of increasing responsiveness to incidents and customers.
