Google Legacy Google Pay Payment Processing ERP n/a 2020 2020
In 2020, OnTech Smart Services deployed Google Pay for Payment Processing on its public website to enable wallet-based checkout for service bookings. The Google Pay integration is implemented as a client-side payment button and browser mobile wallet flow, paired with server-side payment token handling to complete transaction authorization and settlement requests. This deployment positions Google Pay as the primary Payment Processing method for customer-facing billing and checkout workflows at OnTech Smart Services. Functional capabilities implemented include wallet-based card provisioning, tokenization of card credentials, and client-to-server payment token exchange to support authorization and reconciliation. Operational scope is concentrated on the website checkout and billing functions, impacting e-commerce, finance, and customer service teams, and the rollout was executed through staged website releases managed by internal engineering and operations staff. The Google Pay integration follows standard Payment Processing patterns for web commerce, preserving merchant-controlled settlement while minimizing direct handling of raw card data.

Oracle Legacy Oracle Field Service Cloud (ex TOA ETAdirect) Field Service Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2017 2017
In 2017, OnTech Smart Services deployed Oracle Field Service Cloud (ex TOA ETAdirect) to operationalize Field Service Management across customer-facing scheduling and installation workflows. The implementation targeted customer service, scheduling, dispatch, sales and billing functions and was executed at a 100 employee professional services firm supporting phone, chat and email appointment setting and payment intake. Oracle Field Service Cloud (ex TOA ETAdirect) was configured to support core Field Service Management capabilities such as appointment booking and confirmation, dispatcher scheduling and work order orchestration, ETA-driven technician routing, and mobile workforce coordination. The startup team for this new skill and position authored procedures and operational workflows, using Microsoft Word and Excel to document standard operating procedures and to operationalize scheduling and booking rules. Integrations and operational handoffs were explicit parts of the deployment, with the service layer operating alongside Freshdesk for support ticketing, Shopify for order and payment interactions, and operational tooling referenced as 24.7 for monitoring and OFSC as the dispatching engine. Governance was embedded through the newly created role and documented workflows, with frontline staff trained to assist customers in appointment setup via phone, chat and email, to educate customers on product selection, and to process payments and account setup according to the published procedures.
