In 2018, Ontruck engaged Neteris to implement SAP Business ByDesign as its ERP Financial platform to coordinate and scale regional freight transport services from a centralized cloud tenancy. The decision responded to rapid growth, the existence of an offline accounting system in Spain, and the opening of a United Kingdom subsidiary earlier that year, creating an urgent need to unify sales, operations and finance systems across the group.
The implementation focused on core financial management capabilities within SAP Business ByDesign, including general ledger and consolidated financial reporting, intercompany accounting and invoicing, accounts receivable workflows with collection tracking automation, and accounts payable processing. Configuration emphasized multi-entity consolidation and standardized master data to support understandable consolidated accounts and automated intercompany transactions.
Deployment architecture established a single ERP Cloud instance to onboard new group companies and provide a central system of record for customer, supplier and invoice data, enabling cross‑departmental access from sales, operations and finance. Operational coverage included Spain and the recently opened United Kingdom subsidiary, with provisions to add additional subsidiaries under the same cloud tenancy as they were created.
Neteris led the rollout with a programmatic emphasis on process redesign, revised responsibilities and fast completion to begin the new fiscal year on the new platform. Expected outcomes articulated by Ontruck included improved information quality and accounting accuracy, reduced manual task time through automation, fewer errors in intercompany transactions and easier access to relevant operational and financial information for stakeholders.

| IndustriaLAX | Legacy | IndustriaLAX GPS Tracker | Fleet Management | SCM | n/a | 2015 | 2016 |
In 2015, Ontruck implemented IndustriaLAX GPS Tracker as part of a virtual shipping and networking platform delivered by IndustriaLAX. The deployment is aligned to the Fleet Management category and targeted Ontruck transport and logistics operations in the United States.
The implementation emphasized GPS based vehicle location and fleet monitoring capabilities typical of Fleet Management solutions, enabling dispatcher to driver connectivity and real time location visibility. Configuration and operational functionality reflected telematics ingestion, mapping and location feeds, and mobile access for driver endpoints, consistent with the vendor description of a networking platform connecting dispatchers and drivers.
Operational coverage focused on connecting dispatch and driver workflows across Ontruck United States transport operations, supporting dispatch operations and driver communication rather than enterprise back office functions. Integrations were centered on platform level operational workflows and mobile driver endpoints, as vendor reviews describe a shipping network rather than explicit third party system integrations.
The implementation is documented in vendor reviews on Clutch and IndustriaLAX materials, and GPS and fleet tracking usage is inferred from the transport use case and platform functionality because the review does not explicitly name the IndustriaLAX GPS Tracker module. Governance and rollout emphasized platform coordination between dispatch teams and driver mobile usage during deployment, reflecting the networking orientation of the IndustriaLAX GPS Tracker implementation.
