In 2016 OZ Minerals implemented SAP Concur Expense for Expense Management to support corporate finance and travel expense workflows. The deployment established SAP Concur Expense as the enterprise expense reporting and policy enforcement application, enabling electronic receipt capture, mobile reporting, structured approval workflows and corporate card reconciliation.
Configuration work prioritized expense templates, approval hierarchy alignment to finance controls and policy governance to standardize compliance across business units. The implementation integrated SAP Concur Expense with OZ Minerals' enterprise application landscape, explicitly including SAP ERP, SuccessFactors and Hyperion, to enable employee master data synchronization, chart of accounts posting and alignment of expense data with financial consolidation processes.

In 2016, OZ Minerals implemented SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as its Core HR solution to centralize employee master data and support operational HR at sites such as the Carrapateena Mine Site. The deployment was positioned to serve People and Training functions, with direct configuration to manage core HR records, position information, workforce planning inputs, and employee profile administration for front line and site-based workforces. OZ Minerals SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Core HR was explicitly used by HR teams managing performance and salary review cycles, talent and succession planning, and recruitment workflows.
Configuration work included establishment of end to end recruitment processes within the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central environment, performance management workflows, and HR statistical reporting capabilities. The implementation included a super administrator role for SuccessFactors, development of employment contract templates and HR communications templates, and design and facilitation of online employee development plans. The project also integrated the HRIS with learning management tooling named INX LMS, Intuition, and Inflight, and supported automation of site access to site compliance along with automated manifest rosters and flight scheduling for site logistics.
Governance and operationalization focused on aligning system configuration to corporate standards and operational readiness activities, with HR ownership for policy and procedure development, workforce planning and budgeting inputs, and return to work case management. The rollout supported broader people programs such as leadership development, graduate and cadet pipelines, a bi monthly engagement survey and feedback loop, and embedding company values through training and workforce analytics. These changes concentrated on enabling HR, talent management, learning and site operations to use SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as the authoritative Core HR record and transactional system.
